International Race Supplies was started in 1989 by Mike Bond as a natural extension of his passion for anything mechanical. Story has it that he was in possession of some obsolete hoses and fittings acquired from his employer, which his friends bought for their race cars. He saw an opportunity and subsequently resigned to pursue his passion.

After well-known racing driver Dawie Olivier acquired the business in 2019, International Race Supplies was moved to Pierre van Ryneveld in Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa, where a full workshop and warehouse facility is attached to the company offices.

The supply of Goodridge TUV approved flexible braided brake hose and other plumbing requirements has also led to our involvement in supply to the specialist low volume OEM manufacturing sector where we have supplied to specialist vehicle producers such as Noble and Cobra through the Hi-Tech Automotive connection, Birkin Cars and many more.
